چکیده

Purpose: To investigate the function of eriocalyxin B (EriB) in membranous nephropathy (MN) a rat model and related mechanisms.
Methods: Cationic C-BSA was injected into Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats to generate MN. The MN were treated with different concentrations EriB (2.5, 5, 10 mg/kg). After treatment, their kidneys excised, sectioned, hematoxylin eosin (H&E) stained determine renal injury, while Masson's trichrome staining performed tissue fibrosis. Bradford assay used proteinuria ELISA employed blood urea nitrogen (BUN) serum creatinine (SCr) levels. also measure IL-1β, IL-6, TGF-α levels, immunoblot analysis assess protein expressions indicators JAK/STAT3 pathway.
Results: Compared sham rats, showed increased contents proteinuria, BUN, SCr (p < 0.01), induced serious expression collagen I III It elevated levels causing inflammation activation pathway. treatment alleviated fibrosis, rats. With increase concentration, injury gradually alleviated.
Conclusion: alleviates by inhibiting Thus, is potential drug for management

Oral administration of Ginkgolide B alleviates hypoxia-induced neuronal damage in rat hippocampus by inhibiting oxidative stress and apoptosis

Objective(s): The aim of this study is to explore the potential neuroprotective effects of Ginkgolide B (GB), a main terpene lactone and active component in Ginkgo biloba, in hypoxia-induced neuronal damage, and to further investigate its possible mechanisms.Materials and Methods: 54 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: the untreated control group (n=18); the hypoxia gro...

Potential Therapeutic Effect of TLR4-Primed Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Lessening Kidney Damages in Rat Model of Diabetic Nephropathy

Background and Aims: Substantial damage to the kidney tissue and diabetic nephropathy (DN) can be caused by chronic hyperglycemic conditions and exposure to a high level of blood glucose. In the current study, we explored the capability of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) and Toll-like receptor-4-primed mesenchymal stem cells (TLR4-primed MSCs) on kidney regeneration, resolution ...

Histological changes of kidney in diabetic nephropathy

Diabetes mellitus is the most common cause of chronic renal disorders and end-stage kidney disease in developed countries. It is the major cause of dialysis and transplantation. Failure in renal function causes wide disorders in the body. Diabetes results in wide range of alterations in the renal tissue. It is believed that early histological changes in diabetic nephropathy are detectabl...

Membranous Nephropathy

A forty-three year old female applied for a $200,000 ten year decreasing term policy. She admitted a history of "kidney disorder" on the application. She was not being treated or having any symptoms but stated that she was under observation. A routine paramed exam showed height 5’4", weight 140 lbs, and blood pressure 110/70. The BCP was normal. The HOS showed 210 mg/dl proteinuria. A reflex de...

Membranous Nephropathy

Forty-one patients with a nephrotic syndrome and biopsy-proven membranous nephropathy were administered a 3 to 6-month course of cyclosporine (CsA; 4 to 5 mg/kg per day). Differential solute clearances were used to evaluate glomerular function before and after therapy. CsA lowered median proteinuria by 56%, from 7.3 to 3.2 g/24 h (P < 0.0001). Corresponding mean increments in serum albumin, imm...
